[It brings a little smile to his face, knowing that Hinata is coming home just for him. Few times does he really feel like their relationship is real, instead of a dream, but just that little reassurance is enough to ground Komaeda in their shared reality. He doesn't reply back, because he knows that just as soon as Hinata has sent those messages off, he's already packed up and readied himself to leave.
And when he does get home, faster than anticipated for a guy who has what could barely count as legs, Hinata will find Komaeda already bundled up under the blanket laid beneath the kotatsu, with only his overlarge, pelagic eyes poking out and watching him as he enters the room.]
Hey, Hinata-kun... [His tone buoys softly, happy to see him but distinctly lacking in his usual enthusiasm.] You got home fast. Are the buses still running this late...?
[It was automatic to drop his bag somewhere by the door, and slide/droop down to the floor, sliding over to sort of crawl under the kotatsu with Komaeda, settling in right next to him. It was a bit bold for him, maybe, but it was pretty cozy... and Komaeda had clearly started this night out a bit vulnerable.]
Hmm.. usually I take the subway home to and fro. [Though that was certainly some kind of Adventure, now,] But I've walked back here from the arcade, or the center or the casino before, too...
[Komaeda turns over and lays his head across his arms, facing Hinata as he slips under the blanket. He wants to cuddle in closer but, considering they're still in the living room, the slim distance between them will have to satisfy him for now.]
...It's a little hard to believe you've been here for so long that it's become normal for you. [He lifts his hand, reaching over to tuck a slippery tendril out of Hinata's face.] I wish I could have experienced all of those things, with you... Even the bad things.

[Hinata didn't run all the way here, did he?]
