The Hope's Peak Academy Wing of the museum houses several impressive exhibits. Off the mock-trial central area hub lies a section closed off with a security door, above which it is labeled:
Chamber of Genius
A memorial portrait stand sits just outside the entrance, but the photo has been completely covered up by what appears to be some kind of bright pink paint, haphazardly splashed all over and long since dried. The door says "Authorized Personnel Only," but a button fashioned to look like an eye scanner will unlock the way when pressed.
The door opens to a long hallway, that finally gives way to a mostly empty room. The walls are dark and utterly barren, save for what appears to be a strip of windows up near the ceiling, allowing for an audience of observers created by projection. The only other feature of the room is a pod fixed in the center of the room, with tubes and wires extending to the roof. Beside the pod is a table of surgical tools, and a few papers.

The first set of papers is some kind of project proposal, titled "The Kamukura Project." It mostly consists of advanced scientific and medical terms, but seems to involve extensive and experimental surgery on the muscles, the brain, and the nervous system, with the intent of rewiring how the subject's body thinks and reacts in accordance with extremely ideal samples of human behavior collected over the years. The letterhead's name has been blocked out, though it has a familiar logo.
The second is much smaller; an academic transcript and student profile, with a picture attached.
Name: ██████ ██████ Date of Birth: January 1, 1993 Age: 17 Blood Type: A Height: 179 cm Weight: 67 kg Status: Reserve Course Department, 1st Class Previous School: ██████ High School GPA: 2.8 Demerits: Conflict with ███ Security after incident involving the death of ███████ Kuzuryu and ██████ Sato. Multiple attempts to break into the main campus during police investigation. Disciplinary action reccommended.
The rest lists an extremely average performance in specific school subjects. Emblazoned across the top of the front page is a red stamp that says [ EXPELLED ].
The third set is the smallest, with two medical waivers; one with one signature, and the second with two, though all the signatures and names have been blacked out.
>Inspect the tools?
If you've ever been to a surgical suite, this is pretty much a standard set of tools. Scalpel, scissors, forceps, clamps, suction tubes and tips, retractors, and more. They're immaculately clean, but on further inspection they appear to be fake.

This seems to be an interactive exhibit. The pod has a place for one to lie down, and if you chose to, the lid will close after you. After it clicks shut, a video will start to play on the glass.

Amorphous body. Slimes lack bones and other rigid structures through most—if not all—of their body, and can shape themselves as they see fit.
A translucent body. Slime forms are semitransparent.
Brightly colored slime, in any color (bright green, in this case).
A nucleus. This serves as the "brain" or the "core" of the Slime-- takes the shape (and functions as) his left, red-colored eye.
The ability to regain/regenerate lost or destroyed slime over the period of 1-3 weeks.
"Puddle" form. Shapeshifting allows a Slime to become completely flat—including their nucleus—in order to slip under doors, through cracks, or into other small openings.
Hunger for the flesh or meat of humans. This replaces the hunger for fluids. Slimes with this appetite will need to swallow the victim into their body and allow it to digest over the course of several days.
Oᴘᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Cʜᴀɴɢᴇs
Jellyfish tentacles/frills that sprout from his head. Are able to grow and change length as extra appendages with shapeshifting.
Poisonous stingers, capable of paralyzing humans and monsters.
High tolerance to physical harm. Since Slimes generally lack bones, muscles, and often skin, they are incredibly difficult to hurt through brute force.
Oᴘᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Cʜᴀɴɢᴇs
The ability to change color based on mood. moodring guide!
Weakness to water; not so far as to dissolve in rain and water, but has trouble keeping his form together the way he wants it if in water for too long.

This seems to be an interactive exhibit. The pod has a place for one to lie down, and if you chose to, the lid will close after you. After it clicks shut, a video will start to play on the glass.
It seems to be an (almost) perfectly normal informational video, with slow, panning shots of a massive school, from the classrooms to the courtyards, and the dorm rooms too. The voice at the end changes, from an upbeat feminine chime to Hinata's soft voice.
However, the video starts glitching, and goes dark not long after it began; for a moment, the room is quiet. If you try to exit the pod at this time, you will find yourself locked in, unable to escape. Small lasers light up from the walls of the pod, pointing at varying spots of your head.
When the glass screen lights up again, it's with images of brain and body intersections; there's notes and diagrams about where to cut, what to move, what to remove, what nerve stimulation must change in order to produce the desired reaction. There's a few minutes of an overhead shot of the same room you're in now (though the floor is covered in bright green lights), and there's some kind of surgery in process, as the surgeon methodically recites what he's doing as he operates on someone's brain. The subject is not visible from this angle.
The video cuts once more, this time to news reports about an ongoing riot at the school. It is intercut with security camera footage of a young man with long, dark hair, and red eyes, with a small streak blood on his face as he exits the Student Council Room. The news reports the death of the entire Student Council in an incident of unprovoked violence. Outside the building, crowds of students clad in black uniforms try to break through the front gate.
There's more footage of the school's destruction; buildings collapsing, reports of terrorism and footage of bodies littering the streets of a metropolitan Japanese city. Smoke and destruction fill the sky and the skyline, and people slaughter each other in public, unafraid of the armed artillery trying to quell the chaos. Though the clips go by so quickly, you could almost miss it.
The room goes dark once more, and this time, it feels like it's for quite a long time. The lid still will not open.
Now, the same information video seems to play again... though overlaid on a tropical island.
The audio is clearly more glitched and unstable than the last. It freezes on a screen of the ocean on the beach, and Hinata's digital voice starts skipping at the end.
The recording continues skipping, until the words
appear on the screen.
>NO
The entire sequence begins again. You will have to watch it a second time, or a third time, and you cannot stop it. Nothing will change.
>YES
The pod powers down, and the lid finally lifts with a low hissing sound. The rest of the room is just as you left it.
